The Bull Dog Alumni Association awards scholarships annually to deserving graduates.
Currently, the following scholarships are offered:
- John Carmichael “True Blue” Endowment for students planning to pursue a college degree with preference given to those who have shown unusual dedication in basketball or golf while in high school.
- Michael Garber Memorial Scholarship Criteria varies from year to year to assist graduating seniors to pursue their dreams in endeavors that Mike enjoyed.
- John Hinds Tradition of Excellence Scholarship for students pursuing a college degree with a preference to those who have excelled in gymnastics or a student planning to major in Education.
- Webb Salmon English Excellence Scholarship for students pursuing a college degree who have excelled in English, Creative Writing, and/or Literature.
- Samuel P. Simmermaker Journalism & Communications Scholarship for students pursuing a college degree in journalism or communications.
The Bull Dog Alumni Association manages several dedicated donation funds. Each of these funds is used for specific purposes. You can learn about each of the fund goals & objectives below:
- Marian Callon Endowment Provides grants to CNHS students or programs in areas that Ms. Callon worked on – especially Special Education and Counseling.
- Shirley Lyster Excellence in English Education Endowment Provides grants to support excellence in the English Department at Columbus North High School.
- Andy Russell Endowment for the Performing Arts Provides support of choral or drama performance and assists students pursuing a college degree in these areas.
